Items from Main Storage can be requested via the Delivery Request form.
There is a separate storage area for items from the Reference Department. Please contact staff at the appropriate desk for retrieval of items from that storage area.
Main Storage is a collection of items that the Main Library, Hardin, or a branch library has sent to storage because of a lack of space. Main Storage is in the basement of the Main Library, and items are shelved according to the date that the item was sent to Storage.
Retrieval
Items can be retrieved from Storage by staff located at the Service Desk, first floor at the Main Library. On-demand retrieval ends 15 minutes before this desk closes. It may be helpful to check the hours for Access Services (Circulation & Reserve Services).
Requests to retrieve and hold items from Main Storage can be made by using the Delivery Request option in InfoHawk+. Items can be held for you either at the Main Library, Hardin Library or at a branch library, usually within a few working days.
