The train registers in this collection document information connected to the passage of trains through individual stations. Information in the registers, entered by hand, includes the following: date, train and engine number, arrival and departure times, signals, names of the conductor, brakeman, engineer, and fireman, tonnage, and compared times between the watches of the conductor and the engineer.
The miscellaneous materials in Series IV are comprised of various administrative and operational materials from a number of different railroads.
