Central Technical Services

About CTS
Central Technical Services (CTS) at the University of Iowa Libraries serves the Main Library, Hardin Library for the Health Sciences and ten branch libraries. Two cooperative units comprise CTS: Acquisitions & Rapid Cataloging, and Complex Cataloging.  CTS is under the directorate of Technical Services.

Our Mission Statement
Central Technical Services supports the education, research, and service missions of the University Libraries through timely, accurate, and efficient acquisition, processing, creation, and maintenance of access to sources of information in all formats.
