Scope and Contents
The papers of Charles E. Pickett
date from 1903 to 1922 and consist of two linear feet of records arranged
by item number. Each individual item in the collection has been numbered
and indexed by subject and personal name. The papers primarily relate to
Pickett's congressional career and political campaigns. Some of the subjects
included are conservation, pensions, postal service, Progressive Republicans,
Republican party, and tariffs. Correspondence is scattered throughout the
collection, with letters from Albert B. Cummings and J. P. Dolliver.
