Scope and Contents
This collection consists of fanzines from a number of different genre fandoms, assembled by fan writer and editor Hotaling-Lyons. Included are a number of zines that Hotaling-Lyons herself wrote or edited. Fandoms include, among others, Blake's 7, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Doctor Who, Forever Knight, Star Trek, and The X-Files.
Also included are a number of program books and other materials from various science fiction conventions, and a few miscellaneous genre-related items.
Most of the items are pieces of fan fiction. Fan fiction is defined as stories, novellas, novels, or poems written by fans about the characters, situations or general universe of the original work.
