ULIB:3011 (also known as 187:096 (IS:3011))
Single-credit librarian-taught course. This course is designed to complement International Programs majors’ Creating a Proposal for Intl Research (187:095) to help students prepare for an academic research paper. Working with a research librarian, students will acquire new skills and experience for their papers. The class will feature small group activities and an individual research consultation with the instructor. Students will develop a familiarity with a variety of research and popular materials, become experts in at least one academic research database, and enhance their critical thinking skills.
