Scope and Contents

The Leroy Jones papers are comprised of correspondence between local and Iowa State Federation of Labor organizations, state and national labor union affairs, manuscripts of speeches before conventions and civic groups, correspondence with National Labor Relations Board, Iowa State Federation of Labor convention proceedings and reports, proceedings of Clinton Labor Congress, labor contracts between union and local and Clinton Iowa, Iowa Industries, union local financial statements, minutes of tri-state meeting (1954), and various items during Mr. Jones' service as president of Clinton Labor Congress, vice-president of Iowa State Federation of Labor, vice-president of Iowa State Federation of Labor, vice-president of American Federation of Grain Millers, and secretary of Clinton Grain Processors Union Local.
