The book has been printed letterpress from original metal types on a Kelsey side-lever Victor Press. The paper is 80 pound natural white Mohawk Superfine. The line drawings are by Rachael Coomes. The edition of 129 copies has been written, designed and printed by Bruce C. Ogilvie. Signed by Bruce C. Ogilvie, 1993. This is Copy Number 30. Illustrations hand colored. Bound in maroon cloth over boards with the title gold-stamped on the spine and front cover. Illustration on front cover also stamped in gold. Pink endpapers patterned with a design of a rooster weathervane. B20th 1.

This is Copy Number 11. Dark blue linen cover with gold stamped front and back cover illustrations and title spine. Printeed end papers of geography of the US. B20th 4.

Where the reductions made type unreadable, words inserted in brackets [] were added for clarity. Text was printed on 24 lb. Wausau antique gold parchment by heitman Printing Company of Lake Forest, Illinois. Folding and collating by Emily Ogilvie. Binding by Donald Brady of New Port Richey, Florida. All illustrations in text and end papers are reductions of the original engravings. Of the 130 copies printed 100 are signed by the published and are for sale. Signed Bruce Ogilvie.
