Location:
Special Collections & University Archives is located on the third floor of the Main Library as is the Iowa Women's Archives. Main Library is located on the west side of Madison Street between Washington and Burlington streets on the east bank of the Iowa River in Iowa City, Iowa.

Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 - 5:30 pm, Friday: 8:30 - 5:00 pm during academic terms;
Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 5:00 pm during academic recesses and summer term;
Other days and times by appointment or special arrangement.
Note that the Department (and usually the Libraries) is closed on U.S. national holidays (and sometimes an adjoining day -- e.g., the day following Thanksgiving or the day preceding or following Christmas). Check the Libraries' hours pages.
