From curator Rich Dana:
Humorous takes and parody are also a part of the tradition of riffing on “Un coup de dés.” Artist D.J. Kime, a graduate student from the University of Iowa Center for the Book’s Topics in Material Analysis course taught by the exhibit curator, designed a pair of Dungeons & Dragons dice using the poem as well as Ernst Fraenkel’s graphic version.
