HUNTER, MARY ANKENY (1870-19xx). Autobiographical sketch. Secretary, vice-president, and then president of the Iowa Suffrage Memorial Commission in the 1920s and 1930s. Hunter was also an activist for world peace, a prohibitionist, and worked for the Red Cross during World War I.

IOWA SUFFRAGE MEMORIAL COMMISSION.  Records, 1910-1941.  2 linear inches.  Commemorated the efforts of pioneer suffragists and the enfranchisement of women.
