University Libraries - Locations in the UI Libraries

The Engineering Library is located within the Seamans Center (SC) on the 2nd floor of the building in the northeast corner.

Accessible entrances

There are three accessible entrances into the Seamans Center to get to the library…

• At the corner of W. Washington St and S. Capitol St there is a ramp to an entrance with an elevator immediately to the left after entering the door. Use elevator to 2nd floor.
• Off S. Capitol St, across the street from the University Capitol Center (UCC, aka Old Capitol Town Center) entrance with CVS. This entrance is located on the 2nd floor.
• Off S. Madison St, use path between Seamans Center and Greenspace, formerly the Communications Center, to Seamans Center Loading Dock area. Building Entrance will be in line with the sidewalk. Through doors turn left at the hallway to locate elevator. Entrance is on the ground floor, floor “G”.
