From co-curator Eric Ensley:
In libraries and museums, modern makers and their skills are often called upon to repair antiquarian materials. The 15th-century Psalter was repaired by conservator and master binder Bill Anthony in 1985. Anthony
rebound the book in a historically accurate medieval binding and repaired the first folio with a parchment sewing, which is visible on the right-hand side of the leaf.
