Academic Research for International Studies Majors. This course offers a step-by-step orientation to the academic research process that will assist you with your Senior Project preparation. We will use active learning techniques to keep you interested in the subject matter and provide a venue to support your disciplinary training. This course aims to encourage you to think critically, understand and apply the components of the research process, and explore the nature of scholarly information. The concepts and skills you learn in this class will be valuable throughout your academic career and for further developing your life skills. This course compliments 187:095.
