University Libraries Delivery Services

Library users may request that materials owned by one University of Iowa Library be sent and held for pickup at another University of Iowa Library or delivered to an office on the UI campus through campus mail. Requests should be placed using Smart Search or the InfoHawk catalog (both are available from the Libraries’ web page www.lib.uiowa.edu).  Requests submitted will be processed the following day (excluding weekends and holidays) and will be delivered within five working week days.  An email notification will be sent when they are available for check-out or when they leave the owning library, if delivered to an office.  The loan period begins when the material is checked out.  Staff at the owning library will contact you if material is not located or is not included in this service.
