Librarian Residency Program

The purpose of the Librarian Residency Program is to interest members of historically underrepresented groups who are recent graduates of masters programs in library and information science in a professional career in university libraries. When there is a vacancy in the program (typically each spring), it will be advertised in the "P&S Positions" section, above.

Student Employment

The University Libraries continually accepts applications from qualified students wanting to work in the libraries. All vacant positions are advertised on Jobnet. Come in to the Main Library Administrative office to complete an application. The UI’s Office of Student Financial Aid has general information about student employment.
