Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Books, journal articles, and other research materials not owned by the University of Iowa Libraries can usually be borrowed from other libraries. (ILL Policy) (ILL Tutorial)

Document Delivery

Articles or chapters from nonelectronic journals, newspapers, or books held in any University of Iowa Library (with the exception of the Law Library and Curriculum Lab) can be scanned, delivered electronically, and available for viewing for 28 days.

Persons Not Affiliated with the University of IowaRequest a journal article from a journal owned at the Hardin Library for the Health Sciences. To obtain items not owned at the Hardin Library you must use your local public or hospital library or contact a document delivery supplier.
