All UI faculty, staff, and students are eligible to use the Interlibrary Loan service. Books, reports, theses, microfilm, videos and other research materials not owned by the UI can often be borrowed from another library. Requested materials for loan average 7-10 days before arrival. Journal articles and book chapters usually arrive sooner, a week on average.

Interlibrary Loan System:
For Interlibrary Loan requests of books, dissertations, microfilm/fiche, videos, CD's, and photocopies of journal articles and book chapters please log-in with your HawkID and password to access the online request forms: Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery. You can also check the status of your requests, renew materials, view electronically posted materials, and view the history of your requests via this interface.
